4 Of Cups

General:

Be sure that you are counting your blessings. Don’t spend too much time in self-pity or wishing your life away. A lot of life has to do with where we put our focus. Put your focus on the things and people in your life that you should be thankful for or you may find yourself feeling bored and unmotivated. Consider a gratitude journal.

Work:

You may not like your job very much and are only there because at least it keeps food on the table. However, if that isn’t your main concern, now may be the time to pursue something more meaningful. You don’t need to spend your time being bored if there is something else out there that you are more passionate about.

Love:

You may be struggling to find motivation for romance. Do you have your heart set to fail by excluding all possible options and giving your energy to those who are quite literally unavailable, emotionally, or physically?

Finances:

Focus on your strengths and be proactive in doing what you are good at. If you’re not where you want to be financially, make specific goals and plans, then take the steps you need to you get there.

Health:

We look lazily towards our health. First, focus on the positives. However, if you are having physical problems, remember that things do not always have to be the way they are right now. Put the effort to exercise, rest and make time to eat healthily. You may need to reach out to a trusted family member or friend to help get motivated.

Spirituality:

Wishful thinking can take its toll on the spiritual aspect of life, as when we are caught up in “poor me” thinking or “I wish things were different”, it tends to blind us to the beauty of what is in our lives and what we have right now. Stay constant and grounded in the present moment. If you are finding it difficult, keep a gratitude journal and write down things you feel grateful for every day. Or you could make a list of twenty people, situations, or things in your life that you are grateful for and look at this list every day. Thinking along these lines can elevate your “spiritual mindset” immensely, and quickly.
